About the Book
Born a Two-Spirit, Fluffy is not like the others. Teased and left behind, Fluffy dreams of the freedom that wings might one day bring, a place where being different doesn't mean being less.
Unfurling those majestic wings for the very first time, Fluffy tumbles to the concrete, unable to fly. Just as all hope fades, a human angel appears, and everything changes.

About Tracy
_edited.jpg)
Tracy Pepper is a Métis storyteller and graphic designer whose work is shaped by a lifelong journey of healing, ancestral wisdom, and the search for meaning through life's transitions. She is a graduate of Toronto Film School and is currently completing a Creative Arts degree at Yorkville University.
Diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer at the age of ten, Tracy has spent her life defying the odds and transforming survival into purpose. Currently undergoing treatment for metastatic stage 4 kidney cancer at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, her resilience and determination form the heartbeat of Fluffy the Extraordinary Butterfly — a story of hope for children navigating illness, disability, or the tender work of discovering who they are.
Tracy's perspective is both deeply personal and globally informed. She is the founder of the Pendo Project, a charitable initiative providing education, food, and support to displaced children in Africa, and a dual citizen of Canada and New Zealand whose life has been shaped by two homelands, many journeys, and the stories gathered along the way.
She currently lives in Toronto with her New Zealand Huntaway Service Dog, Blue.
